Black Ops III Digital Download Size Revealed; Xbox One Digital Pre-Orders Canceled?

Microsoft's Xbox Store has updated their Black Ops 3 sales page with the games digital download size, which will be 45GB. This is pretty much the same size as Advanced Warfare was on its release day. We can expect the PS4 version to be near the same figure.

At the same time, strangely enough, Microsoft has removed the option to pre-order the Black Ops 3 Digital Edition from the Xbox Store. Even some retailers, like Amazon, have removed their Xbox One BO3 digital pre-orders. Kotaku was able to reach out to Activision, but they gave no clear answer to what is happening:

"We do not comment on the specific terms of our arrangements with any of our publishing partners, however we are actively engaged with Activision to return 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' to the Xbox Store. In the meantime, fans can pre-order 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' for Xbox One or Xbox 360 from any of a host of retail partners here."

Microsoft has stated that the pre-orders have been "temporarily removed" and they are working with Activision to return them as soon as possible. This strange turn of events might have something to do with Sony's new partnership with Activision. As you might remember, PlayStation is now the home of Call of Duty and all DLCs will be PlayStation exclusives for 30 days.
